A Simpler Day

After  the detailed card I created yesterday, I decided to go a bit simpler today - I didn't even do any distressing today!  I did finally open up the "Button Buddies" set and those wonderful polka dotted brads!
The sketch is from Stamping 411 and the colours (which I love together) are from the Color Throwdown -Pool Party, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and White.  I've had this piece of scrunched up Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon on my desk for quite a while and finally added it to a card!

I had a terrific time last night catching up with a group of women who were housemates at Concordia College about 32 years ago (there were 9 of us in the house in total).   We try to get together once a year, but it doesn't always happen, and we rarely take pictures - so we made sure we did last night.
We haven't changed a bit!

Hope your day is full of simplicity and friendship!
Thanks for stopping by!
Joan
