Maculine Collage

Just a quick post today before heading off to school to drag my instruments out of storage....

I was totally inspired this morning by THIS card by Carrie at Artistic Avenger from the sketch challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary.  I liked how Carrie layered the paper and ribbon and attached them with brads.  The colours are from Create Ink this week - Soft Suede, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  I guess this is a case of how things can be the same but different because I completely CASED Connie's card.

I was asked by my Mother for a card for a male friend of hers and so moved toward a more masculine collage today.  He does photography and likes music so I included those features in the collage.

Well - off to school - I hope things aren't in too much of a mess.  Thanks for stopping by for a visit - I hope you enjoy your day.

Beautiful take on Carrie's card Joan! I love how you've used the striped side of DSP here--perfect for a masculine card and those brads are the perfect touch! Thanks for playing along with us at Create with Connie and Mary!

So glad you liked my card, Joan. Love how you've made your own designer paper using the stamps. Thanks for playing at CCMC this week.
