Chevron fold with DSP

I found this neat Chevron fold when looking for ways to use folded Designer Series Paper on cards.  It's a cute way to showcase both sides of the DSP, because sometimes you can't decide which side to use.  These easy instructions were found on Lyssa Zwolanek's blog.

To create the chevron, begin with 5 strips of DSP measuring 1" x 2.5"

Using three of the strips - fold the top right corner over to the left edge and the bottom left corner over to the right edge.
Using two strips - fold the top left corner over to the right edge and the bottom right corner over to the left edge.
Refer to the photo above.

Next, create a chevron shape alternating the strips you folded three of with the strips you folded two of.... 3 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 3

Keeping the chevron shape, adhere the strips to a mat and complete your card.  I've kept the corners loose but if you like you can tack them down.  You can also turn your card so it is vertical and decorate it that way.  You'll need a different, shorter, greeting with this design.

For this card I used the Peaceful Poppies DSP and the Peaceful Moments Bundle for both the black poppy outline and the greeting.

That's it for today.  I have one more fold to show tomorrow, then I'll get on to other things.
Thanks for dropping by.
