Clean and Simple

Happy Thursday -

Just a quick posting today with a card I whipped up after school on Tuesday as a sample for a technique I'll use at an upcoming workshop - I haven't used this resist technique for a very long time. We did a card with this technique at my last team meeting and I'm glad it worked out with this "Inspired by Nature" set. I used one of my rub-on words - which I have scads of because I keep forgetting to use them.

For the technique - I used a piece of glossy paper and stamped the images on with Versa Mark "ink". I let that dry first and then, using a sponge, dabbed the ink onto the paper - the coloured ink doesn't adhere to where the versamark ink is. Once the ink is applied you can buff it off with a kleenex to get rid of the excess.

It's going to be a busy day - I've got a couple of cards to make, packing for Regionals on the weekend, and choir. I'm praying for everything to get done in a non-frantic manner!!!

Hoping you have a wonderful day - and thanks for stopping by to visit -
