Monochromatic Patterns

Happy Friday Afternoon - it's now the weekend! Woooo Hooooo!!!!

Yesterday's 365 Cards challenge was to create a card with at least 3 different patterns on it. I found an old pad of DSP - I think this is Wild Wasabi and matched it with the sketch challenge at Splitcoast.
The Ways To Use It Challenge at Splitcoast this week was to create a card of encouragement for someone and I just love this little sentiment. I'm from the "old school" of not mixing my plaids and prints.....let alone 4 different patterns together so there really was NO way I was going to include an
image on this card. I went with a trio of flowers instead.

Today's challenge at 365 Cards was "Cotton" - I interpreted it as clean crisp white created my second-in-one lifeftime-complete-white-card. The sketch comes from Friday Sketchers ... I had to experiment a couple of times with the "image". I tried using the embossing folder first...applying Versamark "ink"...and then adding the iridescent ice. Finally I tried applying the iridescent ice to the whole piece and then putting it through the Big Shot and I liked the effect better. There is a rub on sentiment in the lower right hand corner....but there's no way of seeing it unless the light is just right.
Hope you enjoy a wonderful Friday evening - Thank you for dropping by for a visit.
