Okay....I've gone outside the SU box and used my first Stamping Bella on a card. I got some of them this past week and this one worked for me for today's limited supply challenge. We needed to make a summertime card with only three layers, limited embellishments and no designer paper. During the summer I love to sit on my deck with a cup of coffee and a book. I've actually taken two Bella stamps - the Late drinker does not have books next to her - Yipee for markers!
I'm also posting this card for this weeks' challenge over at Stamp Something....They're looking for Triple Plays - Three Colours, Three Layers and Three Embellishments.
One quick question to Bella users - I have the stamps, I have a block, how to I get the stamp to stay stuck on the block while I'm using it? (What a Newb!)
I promise not to bore you with all the family scrap pages I make, but I wanted to share these two. I'm using Stampin'Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits and am wonderfully pleased with how the colours actually go with the photos I have. I'm working on both son and daughter at the same time. I'm thankful for the scrapbook layouts that people have posted on their blogs.....it gives me a jumping off spot! I'm also going to delve into the past scrapbook sketch challenges on Splitcoast!
Hope the sun is shining where you are....it keeps popping behind clouds here - JOAN

Gorgeous Bella card Joan and fabulous LO's. I've joined SU today as I keep admiring all the gorgeous papers you use and thought i'd take advantage of the starter kit. I have a little something for you on my blog. Big Hugs, Nikki x
Lovely card, sorry can't help with the Bella question. Fab LO too.
super cute card! Love the flowers along the side...
and your pages are beautifully done!
Beautiful card Joan! I love that sweet Bella image, great coloring too. Love your layout and colors, great accents. Awesome job with the challenge! :) Thanks for playing.
For the Bellas, I used double stick tape, one piece on the block and stick on the bella. Usually I can use one piece of tape for a while before needing to change it. Hope this helps! :)
Hey, Stranger!! Good to see you on my blog!
The card is gorgeous; and your l-o's are just terrific!!
You rock, Joan!
Love the bella card!! great idea to combine 2 stamps!! Super job with the challenge!!
I use mono-adhesive for my bellas, double sided tape. Seems to work well.
Hper that helps:) Thanks for joining us this week:)
Your layouts are gorgeous, please keep sharing - I love them!! As for the contraband, well, it's pretty cute too - LOL! Love the bella card Joan, really adorable! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
Lovely card - great image
cuper cute card! glad you used your new stamp (aren't those Bella's the best?!). great colors and I love the flowers along the side.
As for your question, I use doulbe stick tape on my block (I have one designated just for my Bellas). It holds the stamp in place while I'm using it and then I can remove it(the stamp) and use it over and over again. I beleive there are a few tips on the Bella site to help you out.
She is adorable. The pages are wonderful, too.
