I'm including four pages from the marker booklet today because I may not get a chance to post any tomorrow because we're having our team meeting.
I was blown away by this Embossing Technique when I did it. I never thought of colouring on top of the versamark "ink". It gives the stamp an interesting effect when finished. For this sample I embossed the entire image from "Take Three" but I only added marker to the centre image.
I used this technique not so long ago on a card I posted on March 10...you can check it out through the archives link at the side, or click here
to see the card posted on Splitcoast.
Number 8 is pretty self explanatory too. The key is
to remember to begin colouring with the lightest colour first.
Technique Number 9 took a little bit of practice because you don't want to mist too much water onto the stamp, otherwise you end up with a muddy mess. Hold the stamp armlengths away from you and then catch the mist once you've sprayed. I did end up liking the way this technique looks once I was done.
Number 10 is using the Spritzer Tool, which I just love!!!! For the "Enjoy" the white piece is spritzed with the ballet blue to match. The "Laugh, Play Share" is spritzed with the three colours which are at work there, and finally the flower is a bold stamp which has been inked with the So Saffron and then spritzed with Celery before applying it to the paper.
I have to go now and make a birthday card for my beloved daughter who turns 17 tomorrow. Should have done it yesterday while she was doing her Driver's Ed!!!
Happy Stampin' - Joan

Happy birthday to your daughter!
This marker techniques book is such a great idea! The techniques and samples are great- and it is such a great refresher for techniques that you sometimes forget over time.
Fabulous idea! Browsing this book must be relaxing and inspiring...
