Hey, hey - back again for a sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps. This week's sketch was designed by Monica. I love how the sections are different sizes. I decided to use Comfort Cafe for my paper and spent a lot of time making "Baby Wipe" leaves with different sets and dies. I settled on a single leaf on a circular background....that Cajun Craze piece at the top of the card was just too busy to "support" the other leaves; to my mind anyway.
Rather than a strip of ribbon along the side I used the Double Scallop Ribbon Border punch and ran a piece of Early Espresso Baker's Twine down the middle.
Give this sketch a try, as you can see from Monica's sketch - you can use any shape as the focal point, so the sky's the limit. Thankfully, the leaves haven't started to change here - the weekend is suppose to be a good one, but it's suppose to get cooler Monday - so I'll be enjoying a bit more deck time for a couple of days.
