One of a Kind

Well - some days ya have it…..and some days not so much.  Or maybe I'm just not sure about one layer cards.  That's what the Friday Mashup! is this week - a single layer card with a nautical theme.
I do like my school of fish though - I ended up making three masks to get the school together.

Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend.  We're babysitting this evening and I'm not sure if we'll finger paint or bake…..we'll see how things work out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Masked Silhouette

I created this yesterday using the colours for this week's Paper Players Challenge - Marina Mist, Crushed Curry and Slate Grey.  I was making the second technique card for my Team Meeting tonight.

I called this technique "reverse masking" - but does anyone else have a different name?

Lots of snow has melted here today - all I did while I was walking was breathe in deeply - the fresh - unfrosty - air felt so good.  The birds were enjoying it too - singing away.
Hope your day was tickity-boo!
Thanks for stopping by.

Hexagons and Triangles

Today's Friday Mashup is to use Hexagons and Triangles in your creation. I've used the sketch from Create with Connie and Mary this week also.
Since I haven't used this Afternoon Picnic  paper AT ALL - I decided I'd better dig into it and turned the triangle paper pieces into a pinwheel.

I have made a list of things that I would like to accomplish in my crafting room this weekend…..we'll see how that goes!
Hope your Friday has been Fantastic
Thanks for visiting.
