Pistachio Mambo Christmas

This week over at Merry Monday, they have a fun sketch and colour combo.  They are calling for a lime green and deep pink.  I don't have any Green Galore around anymore (anyone remember that colour?) so I went with Pistachio Pudding and Melon Mambo. Fun, fun, fun.

Hope you had a good beginning to your week.  To be honest, I've been grumpy all day.  Gotta do some more crafting or arting to get me out of it!

Thanks for stopping by -

Warm Bermuda Boot

Well, it's Wednesday and I finally made it back into my craft room and finished to card I started for the Merry Monday Challenge this week - to create a Christmas Card using Aqua, Silver and White.

I chose to use Bermuda Bay as my Aqua colour - I love love love Bermuda Bay!

I used the Paper Players sketch from this week too - clean and simple - so the card came together easily.  I still have a difficult time with complete empty untouched space - so I threw down a few rhinestones for fun!

Tomorrow is a half day of teaching so I'm hoping to get a bit more stamping done - if I'm not exhausted again from this dog-gone cough I've still got!

Hope you are healthy and happy in your little corner of the world

Silver Christmas

Working on some designs for my next Christmas stack.....I had to jump at the chance of participating in the Merry Monday challenge this week because it used snowflakes and Blue/Silver/White...which is perfect for the Winter Frost DSP; which I love!

I've discovered that the Silver Foil Sheets emboss beautifully!
I'm not sure if I'll use this design for my November stack - but it's one I'll use personally for sure.

I've used the Freshly Made Sketches - sketch - for this design.  I did not include the little flags, so I just may create a different card with this sketch this week!

Before the day is out, be sure to take advantage of the 25% discount on selected punches.
Go to my on-line store and remember to use this week's Hostess Code!

Hope your day has been productive - creatively or otherwise.
Thanks for taking the time to visit.

Silver Hope

Well, it's been almost a month to the day since I last posted - and I feel like a stampin' newbie!  Gonna have to get my mojo into action again over the next little while.  I've been busy, busy, busy with stampin' activities and having a blast with it.  I've just missed the time to sit and do challenges also.  So, it felt good to be stamping for myself today, even though I'm not thoroughly impressed with what I created.

I chose to use the Friday MashUp! for this week......
  1. Make a project featuring "Chipboard (Precut or Diecut )".
  2. Or Make a project with "Distressing ( ink, scissors or the Cutter Tool Kit)".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Distressed Project featuring Chipboard"
I have a whole tin full of chipboard pieces, not counting some that are still in their packages, so it was nice to pull them out to use them.  I found this "hope" from an old Christmas set and inked it up, along with the little stars, with Silver ink.  The Brushed Silver paper was put through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder.

I couldn't find a solid star in my stash of stamps, so I opted to use the one from Floral Fillers.

Tombow Glue is keeping the Silver Glass Stampin' Glitter in place and Rhinestones were added to the stars.....making it full of glittery goodness for the Just Add Ink challenge this week to "Just Add
Glitter"  to your projects.

So, there ya have it.  I can hear my husband and daughter making all sorts of noise watching the Canucks tonight.  Guess I'd better get supper started!

I hope you've had a wonderful day and have a little something to cheer about.  Thanks for stopping by!
