Yesterday's Inspiration Challenge was from maXimio inc. and I chose the pink pillow shown here. I rarely ever use pink so that added to the challenge. I also used the Colour Throwdown which was Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. By adding the "Lovey Dovey" sentiment I also fit into the challenge over at Our Creative Corner.
I may not be posting very regularily after today since I'll be having a house full of people for Christmas. I hope everyone has a blessed time with their
family and friends in celebrating the Christmas season.
God Bless - JOAN

Winter Blues
The Limited Supply Challenge for today was actually called "Holiday Blues".....only using blues for the card - but mine is more wintery than holiday.
I used a sponge again today to make the background with Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze. Oh.... Also....to keep glue and glitter from getting onto the words I attached the circle to the scallop, covered it with another circle and then applied the two way glue pen to the scallops. Otherwise I just KNEW I'd get glue on the Baja paper.
The sketch that I used is from over at "Stamp Something". I like this sketch!
Thanks for visiting! Hope you have a great day

Thinking of You
Good Morning:
Here is another card done with this week's colours and the Sketch Challenge for the week. You can't really tell in the photo, but the white paper has been sponged with the Kiwi Kiss and the Baja Breeze.
Off to wrap presents....

Challenge Trio
I finally got to some challenges - it's been, like, forever!
The first is today's Colour Challenge...and last weeks' Sketch Challenge. The colours are Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Grey and Not Quite Navy. I hadn't used this stamp set yet and thought I'd better. I love the old fashioned images.
The two star cards are for friends and I used yesterday's New Technique Challenge....using the two tag punches to create the stars. The tutorial for this can star can be found here.

New Seasonal Cards
Here are three new Seasonal Cards.
The first is for the Colour Challenge and Sketch Challenge from last week. There are snowflakes stamped on the card base but you can barely see them.
The next two cards are ones I did up to send out to people who were at our Christmas Card camp - don't want to send out a card that people have made for themselves! :)
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. Thanks for visiting.

Casing Amy
Here is a "picture" I cased from Amy. She made a fantastic set of three seasonal pictures which I saw during our Christmas card camp. I loved how she used this "fall" paper for a Christmas background. I like hers a lot better....I'm going to make a second one to go in between a set of mirrors we have in our dinning room for the season.
