Are you ready? Do you have most of the Christmas preparations finished? I like to TRY and have things finished so that I can relax and just breathe before all the busyness of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day occur. Sunday will be a busy day because my husband and I will be singing in the choir at the regular morning service and then again in the afternoon at the family Christmas Eve service. Gone are the days when we had to sing at three Christmas Eve services, so things have actually calmed down a bit.
I still have two things to create in the kitchen today so I'm out of the way tomorrow when my wonderful husband is cooking dinner for our family. Yes, it is a tradition in his family that the men cook the meals for the major holidays. (WooHoooo! - don't tell anyone, but I've never cooked a turkey in my life.)
And, here is our little man after his Christmas Concert Performance. The Kindergarten class did a great job kicking up their slippers and following the actions of their teacher. The whole concert was wonderful.
So, Just Breathe. For the card above, I actually took left over pieces from a previous workshop and reworked them into a non-Christmas card. Again, I hadn't used the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies yet. I wasn't completely sold on them at first, but I draw mandalas a lot, so it seemed logical I should try them out. AND.... the new Mini Dimensionals were perfect for placing on the tiny solid spots of the medallion to left it lift off the page. The "Just Breathe" sentiment, from the "Colourful Seasons" stamp set, is one of my favorites, both the words and the font.
Don't forget that you still have until January 2 to take advantage of the Year End Sale. Shopping on line is easy-peasy. And if you use the Host Code -

Wishing you a great day. Take time to spot the small delights around you.
