Double Flowers

Today I wanted to do the challenge from Color Throwdown, so it's a double posting. Two postings in one day and two cards for one posting.  I couldn't decide which stamp set I wanted to create the card with, so I decided to make two cards keeping most things the same except for the orientation.  I still can't really decide which one I prefer, so it's a tie.

Painted Poppies was used for the above card.  (I tried it out with pink poppies but I liked the blue ones better.) I used the the little scalloped edge for both cards and used two different punches for the sentiment.  I got the idea for the two punches from a birthday card I received last year from Elizabeth Green. Otherwise, I never would have thought of putting them together.
Painted Harvest was used for this second card.  It's a bolder looking card, but I like it.

Here is the challenge from Color Throwdown if you are wanting to give it a try.  This challenge closes Monday, February 10.

I have my grandson coming over for the afternoon, so my stamping is done for the day. On to other adventures.
Thanks for stopping by.
Joan
