For a second day in a row my card is more about paper crafting than stamping. But that's okay!
Perusing through various places for inspiration on ways to use the Lily Pad products has been fun. I love getting new ideas that I wouldn't have thought of myself - even though they are so easy. I wouldn't have necessarily thought of putting DSP behind this particular flower die. I would have coordinated it with the stamped image only. Silly me.
I love how these flowers turned out for this card. Each flower's "colour", and the strip along the left side, come from the "backside" of some of the Lily Impressions DSP sheets. It's so easy to get attracted to one side of the DSP that the reverse side gets neglected. The petal details are cut from Sparkle Glimmer Paper and stuck on with Mini Glue Dots. Texture is provided by the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing folder. The "Just a note" sentiment was taken from the "Music from the Heart" stamp set.
The sketch for this card comes from this week's Freshly Made Sketches. I left off the ribbon and bow along the side - not wanting to interrupt the flowers. This challenge is open until February 17.
I hope you are enjoying your day.

Joan
