Floral Thank You

Today I'm sharing a card I created for this week's Just Add Ink Challenge.  When I saw the colours of the two little huts, I knew I wanted to use the flowers from the Timeless Tropical set.

I stamped all of the images in the colours that I wanted them to be.  A blender pen was used to draw colour from the inked lines into the white spaces. They were then cut out using the coordinating dies from the bundle.  The colours I used are Highland Heather, Rococo Rose and Old Olive.

I don't really like plain paper backgrounds so I used the  Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder to add texture.  I also didn't want to take away from the flowers, so I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock, cut it out using the Stitched Nested Labels.

This is beautiful Joan! I love how your Blender pen has added such softness to these pretty flowers and the texture of the basket weave pattern background. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
