Imagine Paris Possibilities

Oh I love this new Mocha Morning Specialty paper - it's so rich!  Of course bit of velvet swirled on anything makes it rich.  I've used the Sketch from Our Creative Corner today.

I received a warm fuzzy from my daughter this morning....she saw the card I made yesterday - with the cupcake.  She said, "Oh, someone has to have a birthday soon 'cause this card is so pretty."  It made me feel good after the fuss I had with it yesterday.

Spent a bit more time stamping today - I made up some sticky-note packages with matching pens to stock up on Hostess/Door Prize stuff.
I copied one that my friend, Amy, made a number of years ago for our staff at school with our Mascot on it.  There are large magnets on the back so it can stick on the fridge.  The pens have a piece of DSP inside.  Everything is quick, easy, and I'm not sure why I've waited so long to put them together.  I've had the supplies for ages!

That's how it works sometimes though - Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  Thanks for taking time to stop by.

Tea & Happiness

WoooooHoooooo!!!!!!!
It's the last Monday of the school year!  I promise I won't make that announcement at the beginning of each post this week!
My Grade 6 kids were full of hugs at the end of today's class.  At least I'll still see most of them in halls next year - that's the nice thing about being a Elementary-Jr High school.  They were a good bunch of kids and I'll miss teaching them!

On to cards - today's Monday card is actually the Friday Mashup:
  • use the sketch that was given
  • Use More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla
  • Mashup the sketch and the colours.....
I turned the sketch on end because I preferred how the Presto Specialty paper looked in that direction.  I don't think I've actually paid attention to rubbing the white sections completely clean before - boy does it pop off the page!

I created the flower using the biggest flower in the Boho Blossoms punch and just tipped the edges with the Cherry Cobbler.   The centre of the flower is actually a rhinestone brad.

I'm off to work on an anniversary project and then tonight our family is excited to be watching one of Allison's friends at the Edmonton trials for "So You Think You Can Dance Canada".  Woo Hoo - Can't wait.

Hope your day has been fantastic - thanks for visiting!
