Monday's technique challenge this week was to create one of these gift card holders. I used a 4 1/4" X 11" piece of Soft Sky folded it according to the directions and added the extras. I'm going to link you to the main Challenge page for this project, because in the introduction to this challenge there are a variety of different places where you can link up to instructions. It's not very visible here, but the Graduate cap is done in paper tole with three layers, the rust star is lifted with a dimensional and the "Congratulations" is actually stamped on the base of the card with the hole cut out of the designer paper with the word window.
This is a cute idea, I like some of the bigger versions that I saw through the links. Also, don't forget to check out the Gift Card Gallery.
I'm going to be in Edmonton all weekend at a Music Workshop so you may not hear from me until Monday.....Sunday if I'm awake.
I'd appreciate any thoughts and prayers for the Ardrossan High School Band heading to Disneyland to compete....boy is Allison excited!!!

Sweet! I've been seeing similar designs all over the web. I work for a company that manages and tracks gift cards, and I've seen my share of ugly gift card holders. You should market these and hopefully revamp the way gift cards are placed. I love the DIY movement. Best of luck.
